A Welcome Day of Rest

16 12 2007

Even though we say Sunday is our day “off” (I work Mon, Tues, Conrad works Wed-Sat), it often ends up being our busiest day.  Church in the morning (Conrad leaves the house at 7:00), lunch, maybe a little R&R, then we lead a Bible Study in the evening.

Today we canceled church.  We have several inches of snow, it’s still coming down steadily, the roads are slick and supposed to get worse as the day goes on.  This probably means we will also cancel our group tonight.  I could get used to this arrangement. . .

So here I sit, drinking a cup of Scottish Grogg, in my pajamas, the girls are playing nicely, and my husband is actually relaxing. . .all on a Sunday morning.
